ASDAN is introducing a new approach to member support. As part of our commitment to providing more tailored and accessible curriculum support, we are moving from a region-based support model to a thematic approach. This update means our relationship management team will be structured by curriculum themes, enabling members to access specialist support specific to the areas they deliver more quickly and efficiently.
What's new?
Thematic support is grouped into two main areas, supporting the following courses:
Personal effectiveness – courses focused on enhancing personal effectiveness for learning, work and life through contextualised, challenge-based learning:
- Certificate of Personal Effectiveness
- Award of Personal Effectiveness
- Personal and Social Effectiveness
- Extended Project Qualification
- Personal Development Programmes
- Short Courses
- Key Steps
- Lift Off
Living independently – courses designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to transition to the next stage in life and achieve an appropriate level of independence:
- My Independence
- Personal and Social Development
- Employability
- Personal Progress
- Preparing for Adulthood
- LifeSkills Challenge
- Moving On
Dedicated support will also be available for International and Customised programmes.
Why we are making this change
- Timely support: by connecting directly to thematic experts, practitioners will have access to prompt and focused support, even if a specific relationship manager is unavailable.
- Focused expertise: each team member brings specific educational experience and expertise, alongside a broad understanding of ASDAN's courses. This approach allows us to share our collective knowledge with you more effectively.
We understand that some members have long-standing relationships with specific relationship managers. While members are welcome to continue contacting them directly, using the new thematic contacts may result in a quicker response. Please rest assured that our team maintains detailed records of member interactions, so you won’t need to repeat information if speaking with a different team member.
For general enquiries, please continue to contact the relevant ASDAN teams:
- Centre support for learner registrations, events, approvals, moderation and other quality assurance activities
- Finance for invoices and payments
- Orders for purchases and delivery queries
We’re also developing new tools to make it easier for you to book appointments directly with our relationship managers at your convenience.
