ASDAN is embarking on a new partnership in 2025 with Fraser Esports to develop an all-new programme for learners centred on the exciting world of esports.
One of the fastest growing industries, esports are enjoyed by millions of people across the globe, generating career opportunities in a wide range of areas.
Curriculum expertise
ASDAN’s heritage in curriculum development that equips learners with the tools to thrive in all aspects of their learning, work and life will be complimented by Fraser Esports, led by James Fraser-Murison, a globally recognised esports speaker and consultant, and co-author of the world’s first BTEC in esports. This partnership underscores a shared aim to make esports education accessible to all and create pathways into further education, training or employment for learners.
Commitment to skills development
As with all of our courses, learners will have opportunities to learn and demonstrate their application of ASDAN’s six core skills in a context that excites and motivates them. Together we will offer learners a dynamic pathway to develop skills, unlock career opportunities, and engage with an innovative curriculum tailored to the needs of the modern workforce.
By joining forces, we commit to delivering tailored resources that will help learners:
- Develop future-ready skills: Esports education fosters transferable skills in communication, teamwork, leadership, and digital literacy.
- Expand opportunities: Learners will connect with industry leaders, work experience placements, and potential employers in the ever-growing esports industry.
- Remove barriers: The curriculum ensures inclusivity, catering to diverse learning needs and empowering every student to thrive.
Commenting on the new development, Melissa Farnham, ASDAN’s CEO, shared:
